Introduction: Why I chose to start a coffee website.

I'm the Coffee Investigator bringing you information on coffee and the many different areas of coffee. I have been a heavy coffee drinker going back to my days in the US Navy in 1970. Over the past year I have been making many websites about coffee and doing a lot of research on coffee. What I have failed to do is have all this information in one place at one time until now.

Look thru this site as I investigate the many different coffees and coffee machines that are on the market. The links on the left side column go into a lot more detail on the different products that are on the market. I've even put up a coffee classified for people and companies to sell their products and coffees.

I hope this information will help find the best gourmet coffee for your individual taste and the coffee that pleases the masses. The pages of this site will help you choose the best coffee makers, grinders and machines, specialty coffee, organic and fair trade coffees and supply you with many choices.

Isn't life nice as to offer you so many choices to choose from and that we are all different therefore liking different things. When you apply this to coffee you will find endless brands of coffee along with so many different brews and recipes. Coffee is like an endless array of endless products. Just when you think you have tried every kind of coffee out there up pops another brand with a whole new taste. So many different products to choose from and so many different brands and flavors of coffee that you can taste a different type of coffee everyday and it would take years to taste them all. Just when you think you have tried all of them up pops another. Coffee is fascinating to me and I guess that is why I started this website. I never expected this site to be what I am making right now but when I started building and gathering ideas over a year ago I was just making a different website for every different product I came across. Now instead of building new websites I just add extra web pages to this website. To be straight up front with you I'll let you in on my secret. I really got started with a coffee network marketing company that has gourmet coffee and healthy coffee. There is no need to name the company because that is not important and not the reason I am doing this website. I want to be neutral on the subject and plan on remaining neutral. When I can no longer give you good unbiased information about coffee that will be my queue to pass this website on to someone else. I love coffee and my wife Robin also loves a good cup of coffee. We live in the New Orleans area and if you are familiar with this area then you know that this is a very big coffee drinking city known for its coffee and beignets. Coffee and beignets is one of our weekly treats. There are seven different coffee and beignets places here in the New Orleans area and we have tried all seven of them. We have our top three favorites with the number one place out ahead by a long shot. The other two are really good but the real original one even though it isn't in its original location it still has its original taste in both beignets and specialty brew coffee and chicory. Of course they all still have business and for the most part a very good business. Most tourist I know ask first: Where is the French Quarter and Bourbon Street and then for the Beignet place. In the future I will be adding information and maps for both of these places plus add the Super Dome and Mardi Gras information.

No one type and size fits all

When it comes to coffee I can truly say: "No one size or type fits all" because in this coffee drinking City of New Orleans there are so many different types of coffee that it will get your head spinning. There are several different companies here in New Orleans making a different original "New Orleans Blend" coffee. They are all really good coffee. I will be bringing you some information on the different coffees of New Orleans along with a guide so you can see for yourself and try for yourself the different coffees.
